Country Road Caravan Park

The Country Road Caravan Park is a small private Caravan Park with a variety of Drive Through Sites, Powered & Unpowered, Slabs & Grassed, Sheltered & Open. We have 8 Overnight Cabins that cater from Singles to Families of 6. The Park is level and easy to find with access from the Highway, the sites are tucked away so they are peaceful and quiet. The park is Pet friendly and we boast having the only K9000 Tru Blu Dogwash in town. There is a laundromat with washing machines and dryers. The camp kitchen is spacious and comfortable. We have jigsaw puzzles and books for the occasional wet day.

This picturesque town in the middle of the New England High Country has it all. In Uralla, you’ll find colonial gold rush history and indigenous heritage alongside fabulous artisanal food and boutique wineries. Whether you fancy fossicking for gold or pulling up a stool at a craft brewery, there’s something here for you.

Things To Do

Explore the history of our beautiful town with the Uralla Heritage Walk, a self-guided tour which takes in more than 50 heritage buildings dating from the 1860s. Learn about the gentleman bushranger, Captain Thunderbolt at the McCrossin's Mill Museum, including his end near Uralla in 1870.

Explore the natural beauty around Uralla. A short drive northwest along Thunderbolts Way is Mount Yarrowyck Nature Reserve, home to Aboriginal rock art that is up to 500 years old.  Horse riding is available in the area, from short trails to multi-day camping treks or try your luck fossicking for gold and gems at nearby Wooldridge.

Uralla is considered the area’s foodie capital and offers a smorgasbord of delicious experiences. Buy handmade cheeses or visit cellar doors with some of the best wine and craft beers around. The annual Seasons of New England Expo in March celebrates the region’s finest produce, artisan creations, and local brewers and distillers.
