Things To Do

Edenhope offers some amazing experiences for our guests. If you enjoy fishing, look out for Trout and Redfin. When the water levels are adequate, enjoy kayaking, canoeing or put out a motor boat out. For those enjoying nature, the area is well known for birdwatching and bush walking. One can walk around the lake on a walking track of 5.5km.

Edenhope has some wonderful cultural experiences, from Edenhope Antiques offering an eclectic mix of amazing bits and bobs to the quirky Dash's Gallery, a museum dedicated to the dachshund dog!  Red Tail Gallery is run by volunteers and showcases all forms of artworks from local community artisans.

The Edenhope Lakeside Tourist Park is the perfect launching place for day trip adventures.  Harrow is a short drive away and is brimming in history.  It was the home to the first Austraian representative cricket team, and this and other Australian heritage are showcased in the Johnny Mullagh Interpretive Centre.  Just a short drive over the South Austrailan border, Naracoorte offers The World Heritage Naracoorte Caves as well as offering a History of Wool on the Limestone Coast at the The Sheep's Back Museum.  For those wanting to get back to nature, Bailey's Rocks provides a peaceful bush setting with some wonderful scenic views.   Or enjoy some of the best wine's in the region at Coonawarra Wines.
